South Asia Research and Charitable Organization (SARCO) is a non-governmental regional scientific research organization committed to the growth of research and knowledge in the areas of economy, environment, space and health in South Asia. The SARCO mission is three fold:

To help deprived people of World in general and South Asian in particular, economically, morally and to make them aware through education about their survival, social, environment, health, science and technology, and law

To be a leading regional organization in the rigorous scientific investigation of sightings and other events and evidence

To determine the constraints, limitations, opportunities and challenges in the field of scientific research and to encourage students’ involvement in research activities by offering funds and knowledge

SARCO engages in collaborative relationship with universities, research institutions, governmental and non-governmental organizations, individuals and business community regionally and internationally. Dissemination of our research and other findings will be through publication in scientific journals, the SARCO Website, and other appropriate media. SARCO will host at least one annual conference, and frequent seminars and workshops to educate the public of South Asia in the related fields.

Main objective of SARCO is to function as an agency for undertaking and promoting research and dissemination of knowledge in the fields of Animal Welfare, Child Protection, Economy/Social Issues, Environment, Health, Human Rights, Law/Politics, Science/Technology and Women Empowerment.
